Jim Crow is another of those Atlanta based groups that lives and dies by their southern roots, Hennesey and all... The mission here was a simple one ... wardrobe styling. Originally, I was not booked as the lead stylist on this project, the girlfriend of the labels owner was. When drama on the set ensued because "the girlfriend" felt too good to work with the extras, I received a call and went to the set and completed the project with no drama...Moral of the story, save the drama for ya mama, it's certainly not needed on the set. This was a fun project to work on, except for the heat that one hot ass Georgia summer day provided while on location at the Old National Carwash. The highlight certainly had to be the number of "real" pimps, Too Short's boys, and their hoes that showed up for the video shoot and were actually apart of it...I guess there is lil truth to the saying, "Pimping ain't dead, and the girls sho' ain't scared. |
