Inspired by Kyoto, Japan
After visiting Japan, I’ve been obsessed with kimono’s and haori’s, and overall the dedication that artisans and makers have for their crafts, from hat making, to fabric, to clothing, to pottery, the slow process of creating something with history and longevity, vs. disposable fast fashion was inspiring.
With my love of bold African wax fabrics and the traditional silhouettes from Japan, I present with this collection, Africa meets Asia.
I cannot wait to go back and spend more time and offer more options inspired by Japan.
